In particular I am reading about envy (I know I'm going ahead a few chapters here), and what a love-killer it can become. But Edwards speaks that a believer is going to "vent" (a current chapter term) by rejoicing with the person who has been blessed so richly by God. He is a sovereign God and I must obediently rejoice with the brother that God has blessed as well as to be content and rejoice in the station that God has placed me. After all, it's about Him. He shows good to me in the ways that He glorifies Himself.
